DODD – FRANK COMPLIANCE (CONFLICT MINERALS)
Conflict minerals is a collective term of four kinds of minerals, tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and adjoining countries (Covered Countries).

As Nidec is a listed company on the US New York Stock Exchange that is required to report to the SEC and uses the four kinds of minerals in its products, we are committed to procuring minerals in a responsible manner through surveys that identify smelters of four kinds of minerals and ensure transparency in the supply chain by closely cooperating with suppliers.

We expect our partners to support this policy throughout the supply chain to ensure that only conflict free materials and components are used in the parts and components we procure.

The Supplier is required to perform due diligence and provide information relating to the presence or non-presence of “DRC Conflict Minerals” in the product being provided under this Purchase Order. More information on basic purchasing policy and non-use of the conflict minerals
