Two dedicated booths to showcase integrated and scalable solutions: B7/121 focused on BESS and PCS systems, and A3/111 dedicated to eMobility technologies and charging infrastructures

On March 5, Nidec Conversion will take part in the exhibition’s conference program with two events: the ANIE roundtable on energy storage systems and the Net Zero Industry Act, and the RES4Africa conference focused on renewable and storage integration strategies in the African continent

Milan, 26 February 2026 – Nidec Conversion, one of the leading international players in electrification, power conversion, and energy storage solutions, will participate in KEY – The Energy Transition Expo 2026, taking place from March 4 to 6 in Rimini, with two dedicated booths, reaffirming the company’s role as a leader in technological innovation supporting the energy transition.

The event represents an important opportunity for Nidec Conversion to engage with the market and stakeholders across the energy value chain, in a context that increasingly demands efficient, integrated, and reliable solutions. During the exhibition, the company will showcase a broad technological portfolio ranging from BESS storage systems to a new Power Conversion solution, as well as applications for eMobility, with the goal of enhancing performance, operational continuity, and the economic sustainability of energy plants.

At booth B7/121, dedicated to the BESS segment, Nidec Conversion will highlight ACBOX, the integrated solution that combines inverter and batteries within a single container. The event will also mark the debut of the new Power Conversion System (PCS) based on IGBT architecture with liquid cooling, specifically designed for long-duration battery storage applications (2–8 hours), photovoltaic plants, and hydrogen applications up to 1500 V, already prepared for 2000 V architectures.

Booth A3/111 will be entirely dedicated to eMobility solutions, a sector in which Nidec Conversion will present scalable charging architectures for large depots and mixed fleets.

The modular design proposed in Nidec’s solutions allows infrastructure to be adapted to heterogeneous contexts and supports the progressive expansion of fleets over time through innovative strategies such as the “one-stop shop” approach, which integrates chargers and storage systems. This enables ultra-fast vehicle charging and grid services even in the presence of weak or limited electrical connections.

In this scenario, the booth will also feature the possibility of exploring financial solutions aimed at facilitating the adoption of charging infrastructure and supporting the transition toward sustainable electric mobility.

In addition to its exhibition presence, Nidec Conversion will take part in the KEY 2026 conference program, contributing to the debate on strategic energy transition topics.

On March 5 at 10:30 a.m. (Sala Neri 2, Hall Sud), Stefano Peron, Sales Leader BESS at Nidec Conversion, will participate in the ANIE roundtable titled “Energy Storage Systems: Regulatory and Technological Scenarios from Flexibility to the Net Zero Industry Act.” The conference will explore the strategic role of storage systems and innovative energy storage solutions in the development of the national electricity system, also in light of new European directives and the objectives of the Net Zero Industry Act. The meeting will provide an opportunity to outline growth trajectories and policies capable of strengthening Italy’s competitiveness within a European context increasingly focused on climate neutrality.

On the same day, at 4:00 p.m., Nidec will participate in the event promoted by RES4Africa, “Solar PV/Wind and Battery Storage Systems: the key to energy self-sufficiency, Driving Africa’s Energy Transition,” scheduled in Sala Ravezzi 1, Hall Sud, with a speech by Stéphane Célarier, General Director of Nidec ASI S.A.S. The panel will examine the contribution of integrating photovoltaic, wind, and storage systems to economic development and the stabilization of African electricity grids, highlighting the growing role of BESS in expanding access to energy, reducing dependence on diesel generators, and supporting sustainable energy policies across the continent.

“The energy transition requires a technological and industrial paradigm shift based on integrated, scalable, and long-term solutions,” said Dominique Llonch, President of Nidec Energy and President and CEO of Nidec Conversion. “Our participation in KEY 2026 reflects Nidec Conversion’s commitment to supporting customers and partners with reliable, high value-added technologies capable of guiding the evolution of energy systems toward more sustainable, resilient, and digital models.”
