A converter designed in three levels.

UniQube is structured across three levels of progressive integration: the AD9000 Power Module as the technological core, the PCS as a complete conversion unit, and the Power Unit as an integrated system solution. Three tiers, a single scalable architecture.

Power Module

Innovative three-level converter featuring a flying capacitor topology and a modular design. Up to 2.5 MVA per module, already designed to accommodate market developments up to 2000 V.

The water-cooling system for the Power Modules allows for higher rated currents and ensures continuous performance even in hot climates. The glycol/water mixture extends the operating range down to -20°C as standard and -40°C for harsher environments.

Quick access to internal components

Flip-up panels with gas springs open up front access in a matter of seconds. Every component is accessible without dismantling load-bearing structures, reducing inspection and maintenance times in the field.

The internal layout is designed so that every component – Power Module, filters, safety devices, controls – can be located immediately. A design choice tailored to maintenance personnel, not just designers.

From the PCS to the Power Unit: the complete turnkey solution.

By integrating the Transformer and the Medium-Voltage Ring Main Unit, UniQube evolves into a complete Power Unit, ready to be installed and connected to the grid. A single integrated solution on a High Cube Skid, eliminating the need to coordinate multiple components: smaller footprint, reduced complexity and shorter installation times.

Available in a 5 MVA version with a single PCS in a 20’ container, and up to 10 MVA in a single power unit, with two PCS integrated into a 30’ skid.

Medium voltage 0kV

Medium-Voltage Ring Main Unit (RMU) compatible with the entire market range, SF6-free up to 24 kV.
