Service Manager Germany (m/w/d)
PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by providing a very good after-sales service.
- Independent execution of commissioning, support, and fault analyses via remote support and by feedback provided by the field service engineers.
- Planning and coordination of commissioning and service calls for all the Nidec Industrial Solutions product lines for the geographical perimeter assigned.
- Liaison with other countries in execution of overseas activities of the Country Service Team
- Guidance, leadership, and development of service engineers and technicians.
- Defining appropriate spare parts and pushing for spare parts business.
- Preparing estimates and quotations for service interventions, retrofit, and spare parts supply.
- Reviewing warranty and goodwill cases and complaints.
- Observing and recording quality defects and contributing to the continuous improvement process.
- Assist with product and application training for customers in coordination with the project manager.
- Occasional travel to support and instruct new service staff.
- Planning of orders execution in coordination with operational teams and sales team.
- Ensuring achievement of forecasted/budgeted results in line with companies objectives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education and Qualifications
Essential: Electrical or Electronic engineering degree
Experience
- Successfully completed your studies in electrical engineering with a specialization in drive or automation technology. Or you have a comparable education as a technician with verifiable, several years of professional experience in the above-described field of activity.
- Enthusiastic about electrical drive and automation technology with a focus on control engineering and already have experience in field service.
- Customer-oriented thinking and your enthusiasm for technical contexts make you a valued contact person for our customers.
- Consolidated experience in project execution, with understanding of budgeting and cost controlling principles.
- Resilient, responsible and very reliable.
- In addition to your structured and analytical way of working, you are a committed team player.
- A high degree of flexibility, commitment and good English skills round off your profile.
